This castle is not only a historical building, but a real symbol of the city of Rende, with its two towers being featured in the municipal coat of arms since 1222<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A journey through time<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside the castle, in the atrium, two coats of arms are exposed, telling the story of the noble families who inhabited these walls: The Magdalone and the Alar\u00e7on de Mendoza. These coats of arms are not just symbols of power; they tell stories of alliances, battles and love that have all left their mark on the history of Rende.
